Spend quality time with residents through chatting, playing games, mahjong sessions, and assisting with simple tasks.
Provide support in feeding residents during lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner (under the supervision of Nursing Staff).
Meal times: Lunch – 11:30am | Tea – 2:00pm | Dinner – 4:30pm
Commitment: Once a week, Monday–Friday, 10:00–11:30am or 2:30–4:00pm
Minimum requirement: 3 months
Minimum 1 hour per session
Empower residents through curated programmes such as arts & crafts, handicrafts, music, or sports activities.
Commitment: 3-month slots (Jan–Mar / Apr–Jun / Jul–Sep / Oct–Dec)
Partner with residents to decorate the Home during festive seasons, including setup and teardown.
Organise games or activities to share knowledge and raise awareness about each festival.
Sponsor a buffet and/or provide gifts or grocery vouchers in conjunction with the event.
Commitment: Ad-hoc volunteering, from at least 2 months prior to the festival through to the execution of the celebration.
Key festivals include: Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, National Day, Deepavali, Christmas
Accompany residents on outings to places of interest in Singapore.
Sponsor transport and meals in conjunction with the event (preferred)
Examples of venues: Changi Airport, Gardens by the Bay, museums, or Bird Paradise
Commitment: Ad-hoc volunteering, Monday–Saturday
Preferred timing: 10:00am–4:30pm (flexible)
Partner with residents to plan and host the monthly birthday celebration.
Organise games or activities that involve the birthday celebrant(s).
Sponsor lunch, tea, or dinner (for residents) and gifts (for birthday recipients).
Commitment: Once a month, on the first Thursday

Create engaging post-event videos.
Produce inspiring videos showcasing our residents.
Commitment: Must be able to complete the project
Capture photos during events.
Take photos for Home publicity and promotional purposes.

Design collaterals and posters for Singapore Cheshire Home.
Collaborate with the Internal Communications team to conceptualise educational and outreach campaigns.
Commitment: Must be able to complete the project
Requirements: Access to design software such as Adobe Photoshop
Transport residents safely to and from appointments, outings, or events.
Assist residents in boarding and alighting vehicles as needed.
Requirements: Valid driver’s licence, safe driving record, and experience driving in Singapore.
Commitment: Ad-hoc or scheduled trips, depending on availability
